My friend had hepatitis c. We prayed and prayed, and we went to go get her retested. We were told that what happens doesn't happen often: that she had antibodies, as if her own body had eliminated the virus. Hep c is no joke and typically doesn't just go away. She had been having lots of stomach pain and fatigue before the tests, which she was told to retake because she ultimately was seeking treatment for the disease and a new confirmation was required.
