Almighty Father, we praise and thank You for the gift of life and for the blessings You endowed upon us. We are sincerely sorry for the sins we committed. Help us to remember the fact that Jesus is laid in a manger amid extreme poverty. It is stated in the Gospel of Luke 2:5-7: Joseph went to register with Mary, who was promised in marriage to him. She was pregnant, and while they were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to have her baby. She gave birth to her first Son, wrapped Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger- there was no room for them in the inn. Lord, make our hearts a dwelling place for Jesus. Lord, help us to realize that Christmas is the greatest miracle ever happen and the most important moment in the history of mankind. Jesus took the form of a human being, live with sinners, and carry the cross of our sins. Help us to share Your unending grace and overflowing blessings to unfortunate individuals by being the light in their darkness. May we acknowledge Your presence in our hearts all the time. Help us to avoid sin when temptation strikes but instead to do good by doing the opposite of what the evil is murmuring. Help us to realize that we are celebrating and rejoicing for the birthday of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We lift all the glory to You Father.
