2012, May 20/21: Father and I were driving, I ran over a bungee cord and punctured a tire. Parked in a gas station lot next to the air pump, on a slope. Tried to jack up, couldn't, jack both bent and went through the rusted car body. Wondering what to do, suddenly a car mechanic showed up and jacked the car up for us without asking for payment. At some point here I was looking at the sky. The mechanic said he normally didn't go past that gas station either but needed to that day. Yes we got home on the spare tire, and I gave the mechanic a soda and Father gave him $10.
