Please pray that my daughter is able to purchase the house next door to me. She was promised the sale of the house before COVID hit by the owner and daughter but then COVID hit and they were afraid to move the mom during the pandemic and fly her to North Carolina. There was no rush in us closing on the house since my kids were getting married and the sooner it was to the wedding the better it was for them. Now the daughter asked my kids to come up in price twice. Which both times they did. I think she is playing games with them so we take care of her mom. One which we have done for the last 30 years. We care about her mom and whether or not the kids were buying the house we would have helped her mom. I have been shopping preparing food for her and picking up meds for her the last two years. Prior to that I would shop for her shovel her driveway and take her shopping. This was all done prior to her wanting to sell her house. My kids have offered her more than what the house sold for down the block from us. They would have purchased the house down the block. It my neighbor kept saying that she was ready to go to contract and that she can not live alone any more. Her daughter came up for a wedding and we tried to talk to the daughter about what is going on with the house so that the kids could just move on if they were not planning on selling it. I feel as if they have been dangling this cArrot over them for a while now. Being that it was next door of course my daughter wanted to wait for it. Now they want to possible list it with a realtor. If that happens my daughter will put her offer in and hopes that it will be accepted. Please say a prayer that she is able to buy the house next door and that things go in my daughters favor. I feel so bad for them and it’s frustrating that they waited all this time and the daughter is now fixing them a run around. We are not looking to steal the home or for any preferential treatment. We just want the fair market price and the courtesy of them being honest with us after all these years of taking care of her mom. I have a feeling the daughter doesn’t even want her to go live with her or she is going to put her in a home. Please pray that the kids get the house and that my neighbor will be taken. Are of properly from her daughter. The daughter told us that her mom gave her power of attorney. My neighbor is of sound mind and I’m afraid that her daughter has been bullying her. My neighbor has cried to me that she could not be alone any more because she is having difficulty walking and that she is supposed to move in with her daughter. That she gave her daughter money to add an extension to her home for her and it’s ready but that she is starting to think her daughter doesn’t wAnt her. Please pray that my neighbors daughter will not be abusive towards her. And pray that my daughter will end up purchasing the house next door which she has been waiting on for so long. It would mean so much to her to leave next door to me. And just to fill you in. The daughter came to us in the beginning asking if we wanted to buy it and agreed upon a price and told my daughter you are like family to us and it is yours you have my word. So it’s been a learning lesson for all of us but in the end we are praying that they will be able to buy it and that the house will go to them 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤞
