Call the 2-1-1 community information line to see about getting other agencies that can help with your immediate financial assistance.

You got it. I am praying for you. Please don't delay in contacting agencies that can help. Fill out unemployment first of all, then be sure to sign up for charities, like the St. Vincent de Paul and/or your local food bank, that may be able to help you bridge the gap with a little rent help, food and other items, until you either get a new job, or your unemployment kicks in. Don't delay - I am a volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul and too often people are in denial and don't ask for help and wait until they are going to be evicted. If you are not eligible for unemployment, then also don't delay in signing up for food stamps (EBT). I know this is scary, but take action and make your temporary job getting yourself set up as best you can with these agencies. <3
