First thank you for reading my prayer request. God called my Dad home, we changed my art studio to a lovely bedroom, a huge closet was added. He lived w/us for over 4 1/2 years. Our home was also his home. The only help we had was from my older son, Derek. My younger son lives in Fl (we're in MA). Dad's last few days (he was 96) I sat on his booster chair next to his hospital bed and hardly slept at all for 3 nights. (Prayed to The Holy Spirit that I would be there w/him.) I was! Talking to him (he couldn't respond but could hear me), hugging, kissing, holding his hands and laying my head on his chest. Thank you, God, for drawing me to his room 20 minutes before he passed. I'm struggling w/his loss (God knows). Please kindly pray for me and for my Father's soul. He was the most wonderful Dad & so much fun for his Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. I've been so blessed with wonderful parents (Mom passed away 11 yrs. ago.) and blessed with 2 loving sons. I realize he lived a long life, I do. I feel as though I'm falling apart. The Lord knows. Thank you & God Bless you and yours in Name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Diane
It is hard, Tonya, because it seems too easy. Talk to God, Our Glorious Heavenly Father. Tell him (even though He knows) He loves that you're communicating with him (as any Father would)! Reach out to Him, as Him to hold your hands and guide you. You're asking for prayers speaks volumes to Him!!! So you're NOT A FAILURE. We're all a work in progress, we are! You are climbing UP that ladder of Faith, Tonya. I thank God to bringing you to it! With Love, Diane/Boston area ((HUGS))
My son, his wife and my almost 10 mth old Granddaughter (I've never seen, I live in Boston area) they live in Sarasota 5 miles from ocean. The lower flow of their condo is flooding. They live on 2nd floor. Damage is down, building could collapse and the eye has not passed yet. They went to a hotel, everyone in hotel is in the lobby due to possible roofs blowing off. They have helmets (even for the baby). I offered to fly them here to Boston (beautiful weather). They wanted to stay. Human life is paramount, buildings will be repaired. Let you brother-in-law know to keep his family indoors and do not drive out for a couple of day AFTER the storm ends...that when most deaths occur....driving through flooded waters, also waters where a power line might be down and rivers/lakes have allegators, snakes. Let them know to take all precautions. God has given them the wisdom. I'm sure they will let God lead them in the right direction. Do continue to pray, as I have. Love, Diane Boston area. (I don't know how anyone can live in that area, I couldn't).
Submit your prayer request. Thousands of caring people will see it and pray for you.
Dear Rich, I just prayed for you, your friend's cousin who passed away in Church in front of her children, and her husband, and all you have mentioned. Thank you for praying for me and my beloved father. I'm still struggling with much. It feels as though (because he lived w/ us for over 4 1/2 years and I was with him when he took his last breath), it feels as though he just disappeared and I have Faith. Rich, you prayed for me before your prayer request. Let's all keep our eyes and hearts focused on God. Please, please, I pray, that you each feel the Loving Arms of our Savior Jesus Christ around you. Amen.
