Wow! I'm sorry you had to go through that it's horrible! As a leader of the church he was supposed to be more understanding we are the church but the sanctuary is supposed to be for the lost and the sick those are the ppl Jesus came to help and he wouldn't have ever turned you away that was injustice and non christian for that pastor the bible says we are to pray for and bless those who hurt , persecute us (Matthew 5:44) I think that goes for that sanctuary and your mom . It's not easy because that pain is deep and traumatizing what you went through but, you definitely need to find and connect with some of God's true people so you'll have that covering of prayer, fellowship and connection with God to help you heal. I went through some hurts and disappointment at my church and was blown off and I had an incident that kept me away for 10 months but, then I realized I wasn't going there for anyone else I was going for my relationship and obedience to the Word of God (Hebrews 10:25-27) as long as I was getting the Word I put the ppl.and other madness to the side kept praying and worshipping treasuring my moments of fellowship focusing on the true goal and the fact God loves me and wanted me there and kept strengthening my relationship with God outside of the sanctuary so I could focus and look passed the messiness of those who hurt me. I pray you are able to find the strength to go to a church/sanctuary that accepts you and that you find true followers of Christ that will help you heal and stay connected to God no matter what.
