Oh my goodness: Please, please listen to:
I didn't know I was me-Bishop TD Jakes- youtube
**there is a spirit of desperation released in the earth: know who you are in Christ but more importantly, understand who God is...and "how" He is working all things for your good***
Just want to share this sermon: Steven Furtick- Before and After. Enjoy!
John 1:45-46
Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked.
“Come and see,” said Philip.
Moral of text:
When God has a great purpose for your life, He’ll often involve a season of obscurity. Let’s be honest about it.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” It’s not like Jesus needed to learn what He already was –– He already knew. But even Jesus went through a season of obscurity before He fulfilled His purpose.
Some of you are in “Nazareth” right now, and you’re wondering the same thing the people wondered about Jesus. “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”
“Can anything good come from singleness? Can anything good come from losing my job? Can anything good come from cancer? Can anything good come from a broken heart? Can anything good come from depression? Can anything good come from divorce?”
This is one of the things I love about Jesus. He'll take the most unlikely situation and use it to fulfill the greatest purpose. (Gen. 50:20, Romans 8:28)
From the sermon, “Before And After”
Thank you for Your Word.
Romans 8: (Read in its entirety-with all your getting-get understanding)
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
*Conviction- It is no longer comfortable to sin-our spirit bears witness with the Holy Spirit (Testify about how the Holy Spirit has worked in you-changed your responses and exposed the tricks of the enemy,)
*Condemnation- Produces unbelief in the finished works of Christ, causes us to operate in shame and secrecy. Opens the door to all manners of darkness.
(The power of the Testimony is that there is no shame or secrecy to be used: Slam the door in the devil's face! Jesus SPOKE THE Word when the devil showed up (bold), satan HAD TO flee, as it is written-shouldn't we?)
Jeremiah 29:
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, "when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
15 Because ye have said, The Lord hath raised us up prophets in Babylon (Read about Nebuchadnezzar);
16 Know that thus saith the Lord of the king that sits upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwell in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; (they gossip about your fall instead of helping you up, as the Lord has instructed)
17 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
Submit your prayer request. Thousands of caring people will see it and pray for you.
