Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we meditate on the words from Psalm 62, I am reminded of the unwavering strength, salvation, and refuge we find in our God. The psalmist encourages us to wait in silence for the Lord, placing our hope and trust in Him alone. He is our rock, our stronghold, and our safe haven in times of trouble.

Let us come together in prayer for one another and for all who need God’s grace, strength, and refuge today. Pray that we may fully trust in Him at all times, pouring out our hearts before Him, and resisting the temptation to rely on fleeting things like wealth or human strength.

Please also pray that we remain steadfast in faith, remembering that strength belongs to God, and He rewards according to His justice and mercy. May we find peace and hope in His unfailing love and grace.

Just as a deer longs for running streams, God, I long for you. I am thirsty for God, for the living God! When can I come and appear before God? My adversaries’ taunts make me feel as if my bones were crushed, as they ask me all day long, ‘Where is your God?’ My soul, why are you so downcast? Why are you groaning inside me? Hope in God, since I will praise him again for being my Savior and God.
