Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
Please know I entered Heaven's gate

If I should pass this very night,
please know that I am doing alright.

If I should not see tomorrow,
please don't cry, I've no more sorrow.

If I should leave this earthly place,
then I have gone in God's good grace.

If I should breath one last time,
I'm with the Lord and breathing fine.

If I don't stir when you call my name,
please know that Jesus finally came.

And if I should die before I wake,
please know the Lord did not forsake.
He promised me that I could be,
with him for all eternity.
