I need prayers for a breakthrough on my work situation. I thought that I had found a good work situation, but six months into the job, I am not able to keep up with the work load. Two weeks ago, I received a performance improvement plan from my manager which I think is the first step toward them firing me. I tried to power through the past two weeks, but after yesterday, I am not so sure that I can actually turn the situation around. I am very close to retirement, 1-1/2 years to go before I can apply for Social Security. Overall, my health is good and feel like I have at least a few more years that I can continue working but not able to find any jobs! I am asking for prayers, either that I will be able to stay at my current job or will find something that I can do well at least for another year and a half!
