Please my husband did 30 years in the Navy he passed away in 2006. I filed a claim with the VA and I have been trying since. I had a hearing two years ago and have not heard from them since. I need the help with my bills , and the funds from the VA would be a Blessing. Thank you for listening .

As a surviving widow you should be eligible for DIC or death pension benefits. Have you tried contacting the National Veterans Foundation NVF? Not sure who they are or if they can help but it's worth calling and checking maybe? 1-888-777-4443 I said a prayer for you too. I hope something gets done soon, Lord knows you have waited way too long for this.

You go by yourself in the right Office to claim your Benedits as a Wife. Get a Lawyer if necessary!
