WHen my throat gets bad,( I have chronic bronchitis) I eat red seedless grapes, or watermelon, or cucumber, the coolness feels real good, and I have the ALka Seltzer drops that you chew, or alka seltzer - one tablet.......the dr gave me a prescription for Pantoprazol. I take it 2 times day............I pray you can find what helps you. COld things to eat or warm soup..... Sending prayers.
