I am so sorry, my ex husband did the same thing exactly 10 yrs ago (this month). No attempts to work on the marriage, nothing. But instead emptied out our joint accounts & left. So I understand, and I hope & pray that you are connected with a local church to help you like I was! ... I'm not sure if you have a good support system, but I remember how hard that was to step out in faith & trust when Jesus called me to go back to church & get connected with the church body. ( Especially after years of isolation and no friends, etc.) ..But that is what saved my children & I, and helped to give us the strength , healing, and support through it all. Jesus literally sent people/angels to provide us with legal protection, as well as emotional & financial assistance to help protect my children & I when we had no real means to get by either.
I pray that youl'l accept the help- especially if you have children- because they will need & depend on you to help get them through this! And most importantly, please remember, you are not alone - and God loves you and He is with you. He promises that He'll never leave you nor forsake you, so just remember that you can always count on Him & Trust in Him to help pull you through.. This too will pass.
