Elize, the hardest thing as a parent to do is feeling like we are not protecting our children from what we determine is not good for them. Remember the morals and lessons you raised your son with and pray to God your son recall and will decipher everything that will deter him from what God has pre-destined your son to become. Also, sit down with your daughter in-law and listen to her concerns. Please do this without judgement and communicate back to her what you heard. Her feelings are her feelings, just like your feelings are your feelings. You don’t have to agree, just get a mutual understanding so you know where to start and where to end...Your son and grandchild is worth the effort!

try not to be confrontational with the daughter in law. Regardless of her conversation or opinions just try your hardest to get along with her. I know it's hard but for your son and grand children's sake it is required of you as the eldest to show your strength and your ability to control your own temper. Don't worry Elize. I went through something similar but the other way around. Things eventually worked out. Stay strong and don't shut any doors yet. Things will work out in time. He is your son and the wall between your'll will be broken :)
