Dear Heavenly Father,
I need prayer from all the prayer warriors to help me with my alcoholic husband who has become abusive as his drinking progresses. I know it is not moving the silly garbage can or putting stuff away because he doesn't remember where I put things when they are actually put away. All this stuff sets him off on me verbally. I never know when it is going to happen but I do see it as a cry for help. I know the only one that can help him with this Father is you! When he tries to hurt me with his words I know it isn't him but the evil in the bottle calling him. I also know he is in as much pain as I am for him to lash out at me. Please help my husband stop drinking without all the bad side effects that are just a continuance of his substance abuse. Most of all stop all the abuse on me. Also Father please help me not to react to his words. I know there is power in your name so I ask you through Jesus Christ to help both of us out.
