Prayer Request
I need prayers. My husband is so abusive verbally, mentally, emotionally and now physically. I do nothing to cause his anger and he says I am the problem. I moved across country with our son to be with him promising itll be better..and its worse. I need out.. I dont feel safe anymore and he beats me down everyday emotionally and mentally. I dont dersve it. Or my son. Please pray for us.

Abuse is abandonment and God allows for separation from someone that has abandoned you. Due to the pandemic climate, I know that it may seem hard. If you have a little money saved, go to a local hotel quickly, until you and your son can figure it out. Make sure that you turn off the "location" function on your phone, so that you are not easily tracked. Call your local city hall and ask about services for those experiencing domestic violence. There is money waiting for you somewhere!! Please make the step. You are courageous and I am very proud of you.
Breathe a moment, pray and enlist one person that you trust with your life. Talk your plan through. You had enough heart to write and ask for prayer, that means you are enough and you have enough left in you to fight by preserving your life. You are important.

Please contact your state Coalition against Domestic Violence and they can help you and your kids get out safely. I work for a statewide coalition in Louisiana and there is federal money available to your coalition to help you get into a safe home.
