Praying for you Mayla
I have been through the ringer with financial problems over the years. My husband and I started to tithe. Not ten percent but what we felt God would tell us to do. We started by just sending ten dollars a month to a Christian Ministry, / As things started to get a little better we added a ministry that helped children overseas. We researched to be sure they were legit. They were. Now we are not rich by any means but our finances over the past 45 yrs have continually gotten better. We never had a saving account but now we do . If we had been in a church we would have given to them but later on we found a bible based church and added them to the list.
of where we would give our money. Just try it. Even ten dollars a month will show you that God is faithful and will give back unto you. This is to obey Him not to give so that you will get back. However the principle is very, very true.
