My friend Beth is grateful for prayers. Although she would not agree, I pray that she will talk to her family about her various problems.

I pray that my husband is getting along OK.

For myself, I pray for reliable transportation, so I don't have to keep asking for favors from people I really don't have a relationship with any more.
