Prayer Request
I would like prayers for my husband. He battles depression, but also holds a lot of anger. He seems to feel like his family doesn't want him around even though they go out of their way to show him different. His siblings have gotten some things from his mom after his dad passed. He is upset because he feels like as the oldest son, he should have had first choice of everything and if he can't have what he wants, he doesn't want anything and they can forget about him. I do get that things should be divided better, but it is still material things and I hate to see a family break over these things. I just ask that God put his hand on my husband to let go of the anger and put his hand on the whole family to see that material things are not worth family.

Father, I acknowledge that I've held resentment and bitterness against (name). I confess this as sin and ask You to forgive me. I forgive (name). Remind me, Lord, to not hold any more resentments, but rather to love this person. Father, I ask You to also forgive (name) . Thank You for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.
