My mom passed yesterday. I had been taking care of her for about 4 or 5 months in inhome hospice and was in the middle of the 2nd application for ALTECS, to get paid by the state to take care of her. I was changing her linen and diaper with one of the nurses and she went stiff and died right there on the spot. Im glad she isnt suffering anymore. Her SSI didnt come in time though so im left to pay rent and utilities on my own with no income. I may be getting some donations from the hospice organization but im still pretty worried about what im going to do next here. I hope I dont have any long periods of time looking for income and can only hope that I will be able to find an affordable living situation soon. Please pray for me if you can.
