There are so many people struggling, hurting, falling short or in need of something, and sometimes I am in that number. Many days I can say - there but for the grace of God go I. Tonight my prayer request is for all of those in need of that something from God and not able to go for themselves to request from the only one able to give that which they seek or are missing that will bring completion, healing, wholeness - even the balm of Gilead - to a very present need in a right now time. Tonight I 'm asking on behalf of those in extreme circumstances too - the woman whose son was life flighted to a hospital in Phil, PA with a gunshot wound to his head, the woman in the hospital with heart and blood pressure problems, the man who just lost his mother and then his son was life flighted to a Children's hospital with life threatening football injuries, the baby left without either parent by tragedy, the 90+ year old Aunt having surgery on her 'good' leg; the newly widowed, bereft and alone in this - the season of hope; the discouraged and the down trodden. These are those whom I lift up to you tonight Abba Father, father who can do all and who covers all and encompasses all, please be all and all for your people in need of your grace, your comfort and your banner over us of love. In the name of your precious son, Jesus. So be it and Amen
