I had recently found myself without a place to come home to due to issues with my wife. I was removed from my home by the RCMP for my protection both mentally and physically. The took me to a shelter 30 minutes away from my town into another town\city. I thought I was done as I didn't know anyone who had the room or the finances to help me as I was unemployed and didn't have any money. The staff at the shelter were most helpful and provided me with kinks to places to get items to start a place, places to call to get my own room , food vouchers, they gave me rides to retrieve my vehicle and to appointments. The shelter staff was always asking if there was anything I needed and was always willing to talk if I needed to talk. When I left the shelter after finding a place to rent (a room) they gave me some more personal hygiene products and best wishes. When I had found the place they also helped put me in touch with places to help with damage deposits and other stuff I might need. Now I have been out of the shelter for 2 complete days and am feeling GOD working each and every day.
