my mother had a stroke and is an invalid now. My husband and I have been staying at my parents house every weekend for the past 3-1/2 months. She cannot stand on her own or walk. We have a hospital bed in the Livingroom and I hurt my shoulder trying to pick her up and down to get out of bed for the bathroom and I told my father that if I come we have to keep her in the bed and use a bedpan because I can't pick her up and he said he would not do that and that my husband should do it. My husband has been doing cleaning their house and doing their wash for 3-1/2 months so I said I wouldn't come unless my brother would send his family to help which he said he would not do and my brother basically told me I was a piece of crap for asking his family to help and that I no longer had a family. My father told me I cannot come unless my husband comes and picks her up and down. My mother is also not a thin woman. I need all the prayers I can get.
