I come today asking for prayers. I reunited with an old friend five months ago. We had been chatting and messaging back and forth. He had his heartbroken by his girlfriend whom he wanted to marry and she rejected him. His business was shuttered by COVID. He lost his purpose and direction. We have had long chats. I have fallen in love with him. But he has built a wall around him. He will not let anyone in. Two weeks ago I became very frustrated. I wrote him a terrible text. I told him that the reason he remained hurt was because of his own self-righteousness. He had been rejected and would not accept it. He is angry. I have not heard from him since the text message. I wrote him an email apologizing for my harsh words. He will not reply. I am afraid he will never speak to me again. I am so sad, depressed, heartbroken. I love this man. I did not mean to hurt him. That was my last intent. I only want him to realize that had that relationship been meant, God would have paved the road for them and she would have said "yes." I guess I should take my own advice. Please pray that he forgives me. That his heart heals. And that he finds happiness again, even if it is with not me. Also, pray for me, that if this friendship is gone forever, that my heart heals and I find peace. Thank you all. I appreciate all your prayers.
