I pray for my family. I pray that i may reunite with my mother and have the chance to take care of the person who has looked out for me, sometimes at the expense of her own happiness. I miss her so much, and I want to be able to give back even just a little of what she has given to me and the our family. I pray for healing and the chance to take care of my Mama, as this is the best way I can glorify God.
I pray for my students. I pray that all their efforts reap good and bountiful harvest. May they have enlightenment and wisdom as they take the board exams. I hope that they stay strong focused no matter what. This is just an exam, not a test of character; of God's prowess.
Finally, I pray for my country. I pray that people around the world will turn merciful and understanding eyes towards the Philippines. I apologize to the world in light of what has happened in the Quirino Grandstand hostage drama that ended tragically. The best i can do is pray for the souls of those who died, and to ask for healing to those deeply traumatized.
We are a loving people, we do not hate, and we do not kill. we do, however, feel, and sometimes, these feelings get the best of us - as in the case of that tormented man who had to resort to more drastic measures.
I cannot bring back the lives lost; never erase the fear etched in people's hearts. All i can do is pray, and ask others to pray WITH and FOR me that we may be enlightened as to how to make things better for the world. We are not perfect as a people, but if only know how to make amends for the actions of one Filipino, we will. I WILL.
Submit your prayer request. Thousands of caring people will see it and pray for you.
