My best friend and roommate was diagnosed with cancer in her lower jaw. She had surgery to remove the entire lower jaw on the left side and a graft taken from her calf to replace and rebuild the area; There were many problems after the surgery, didn't wake up for 6 days, a heart attack, a life threatening blood clot only to find out that the bone graft died and had to be removed. She has been through 3 of these major surgeries and last week we found out that the last graft hasn't "taken" and she faces surgery again. These are long operations and recovery is extremely difficult even if everything goes well. Her name is Kelly and I am asking you to pray that surgery be avoided if that God's will and pray for us to be able to follow God's will. Thank you.
I have been where you are so I will pray for you Tracey but as we both pray for a reconciliation with your husband I must point out that you must trust God, He has a plan for your life (read Psalm 139:13-17) so above all else pray that God's will be done in your life. Be willing to be led in a different direction if that is His will, you will never be unhappy if you are following God's plan for you.
Submit your prayer request. Thousands of caring people will see it and pray for you.
Fiona, I also live in unrelenting pain every day. Sometimes it is hard to open your eyes in the morning because you know you will suffer every waking moment of the day. But have faith, sometimes God can use you more in the midst of pain. Believe in His promises of unconditional love and know he can, and will, heal you - IN HIS PERFECT TIMING.
