A short sermon on 'Now'.
Stop what you are doing and take a breath with full awareness and concentration of watching that breath. Watch it enter your body,;observe where it goes inside your body; observe it leaving takin with it impurities and waste water.
Take another.... and now, one more.
Now consider with me this simple truth. Now, is the ONLY time you can change something, do something, think something, remember something. If you areaware of any worries, concerns, or anxxieties, please ask yourself tis question: "Is there anything I can do about this concern or task, etc. now?" If not, then for now, it is not your problem. I invite you to let itgo until such time as it becomes your problem again.
I am a simple man and my truths are obvious. Now is the only moment that exists so spend some time being in it fully aware.

It helped me to learn that anxiety is merely excitement unsupported by the breath. Take three, slow, deep breaths and ask yourself, "What possibility am I excited about?" I pray you, The Peace that Passes Understanding.
