Please pray for my 13 year old grandson Kellen who became rapidly ill about 10 days ago and has spent the last 7 days intubated, sedated, feeding tube, more scans and tests than I can number. We thought we’d lose him Sunday but has been stable for 48 hours now. Hopefully God willing the vent will be removed soon.. The MRI yesterday gave devastatingly soul crushing news….he has a 1 in a million diagnosis of
ALM—-acute flaccid myelitis. Basically his immune system attacked his neurological system and he went from a stomach virus to inability to walk, eat, etc. a diagnosis similar to polio. He literally swam miles the first week of March at the State swim meet. Prayers for strength and healing and guidance as we navigate this horrible journey.
