For Gaza, Syria, Ukraine, Afghanistan—and the leaders who shape their fate
O God of mercy and justice,
We lift up the people of Gaza, where grief and rubble mingle with the cries of the innocent. Hold the children close—those who sleep beneath shattered ceilings and broken dreams. Let your peace descend like rain on scorched hearts and weary souls.
We remember the children of Syria, born into dust and displacement. May they know laughter again, may their hands build futures—not just survive ruins. Heal the land that has forgotten how to cradle its young.
We pray for Ukraine, where courage walks through fire and freedom is paid in blood. Strengthen the hearts of those who defend, those who mourn, and those who rebuild. Let justice roll down like waters, and truth rise like dawn... In Jesus name..
