Prayer Request
I’m going to be moving into a new apartment in February. It’s the first time in my entire life that I will be by myself. I’m a little bit nervous about that. While my husband is in another state working, I will have to learn to be my own company. I ask for prayers to give me strength and courage to be on my own. I have family close by but I’m still struggling with being on my own. Thank you in advance for the prayers.

I am a 69-year-old widow who moved across the country after my husband passed away. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I am on my own. The Lord will help you adjust. I have a plaque on my wall that says "Grow where you are planted." I make myself look at it once a day, even more when I'm sad. I'm now in a 55+ apartment complex and have made several friends. You will get to know neighbors and a few will become friends. Just remember to smile and say "hello" to everyone you pass in the hall, outside, etc. And most importantly, remember that you will not be alone because God will be there too. Good luck.
