Requesting prayers to lift up my brother Michael Gray who has in the past few years been through a 2 l/2 inch ruptured esophagus where he had to have extensive surgery to insert a sleeve to help it heal and thoracic surgery to recovered the necrotic tissue that exploded and wrapped around his heart and throat area and has had a feeding tube sense. After his immune system was compromised from this life threatening situation he got tonsil and throat cancer, had radical cancer surgery over 100 staples under his jaw line, the 33 radiation treatments along with chemo every Monday and was in a assistant living rehab facility until June 2018 and now living in the basement of my parents home at the age of 61. His Mom and Dad allowed him to come home based on the fact he at that time could take care of himself but since then it has been down hill. He doesn't take his medications the way he should or feed his body the nourishment he needs to sustain it and now he is so weak that he can't walk ten feet without falling out because he has significant emphysema and relies on oxygen and his muscles are too weak. Unfortunately all his health problems have been from his addictions of alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes and as soon as he got to the rehab facility from the hospital operation he starting smoking again during his 33 radiation and chemo treatments with his immune system being overloaded. He got cancer again in his right lung from smoking but with today's treatment a laser vaporized it. He has been cancer free but now dying from advance emphysema caused by smoking and malnutrition. He looks like a concentration camp refugee where you can see him being nothing but skin and bones and his Mom can force him to eat, stop smoking, take his meds right, and exercise. He looks like he can die any moment and death knocking on his door. He can't even get up and go to the bathroom 10 feet away from him. I resent him from putting his 91 year old Mother through his selfishness and committing slow suicide when he had a chance to live and do everything he could to improve his health and get well again. You see an addict only thinks about himself and not any others that they inflict their pain on. For years now I have been helping them and watching Mike continue to be a self centered addict who doesn't care what he puts his family through. So I am praying for God's intervention to help my Mother and give her strength to witness her own son slowly commit a slow painful suicide and death from malnutrition or trying to catch his last breath. Either the Lord's intervention will give him an epithony to live or he will die a swift death and not let him drag this on for my Mother's sake she doesn't deserve this at the age of 91 nor my Father at the age of 94. They should be just focused on each other and the time they have left not my brother's medical crisis or death. In the name of my Father I pray for his intervention of what will be will be.

Please Lord I am praying for your Cleveland Presbyterian Church to help the session and the Moderator, Transitional Pastors to keep the doors open by taking our study to the Presbytery COM and finally get approval to hire our new Pastor. My brother Mike was diagnosed with throat cancer a year ago November went through radical throat cancer surgery where they slit under his jaw ear to ear and broke his jaw to remove the thumb size cancer and 13 affected lympnodes. From that point he had 33 radiation treatments that ended last June. He has a feeding tube that is his main line to life to take liquid food and meds through. He has been smoking and now putting alcohol in his feeding tube self medicating on top of pain meds. Unfortunately, he isn't taking his meds nor feeding himself instead wants to die and using mostly wine and cigarettes that literally takes his breath away since he has significant emphysema and is on oxygen. Recently developed a marble size cancer node in his right lung yet he received 3 cyberknife surgery to vaporize it. Unfortunately, he lives in the basement of my 90 and 93 year old Mom and Dad where he has been living for decades and they took him back home from rehab last June. Every time my Mom and I have a remedy really a miracle provided from God to save him from cancer he is undoing everything we have done to help him. We are literally watching him self destruct and kill himself. Yesterday he lost his feeding tube and Mom calls me asking at 6:30 PM if his Doctor is available I said all Doctors leave at 5:00 PM so she and Dad spent last evening waiting for Mike to get another feeding tube put in. He subjects himself to more pain like this all the time. He needs professional help now that he is drinking every day and smoking that causes cancer and the mess he is in. He also needs a psychiatrist for his mental health in dealing with his medical crisis to get well again. I just wish he would quit his addictions and help himself get well again and I pray that God intervene on my parents behalf to give them peace of mind at their age that they so deserve. So please pray for God's intervention as Jesus Christ gives my brother an apithome of what he must do out of respect for his parents and giving them peace of mind to quit his addictions and turn his health around. He isn't giving his body the nourishment it needs because he is drinking and therefore his body is eating his vital organs. He weighs 112 pounds now. I just ache for my parents because he will kill them first before he dies.

My Uncle George who just retired as a Phychiatrist at the age of 86 has heart problems and retaining water and they can't operate but they are trying medications to help him. Please pray to our Lord that he recovers enough to live another few quality of years so he can enjoy life after retiring with his wife Ann. He is the last of 6 brothers my Mom has and it would be nice if she still had her brother in this world. In the name of Jesus Christ I prayer o Lord. Amen.

In 2017 my brother was flown to a hospital for a ruptured esophagus and nearly died 3 times from emergency surgeries involving the thoracic and feeding tube operations since his intestines wrapped around the tube and they had to recover dying bowels then stitch left inside punctured his bowels and caused a 10 l/2 wound vac requiring 14 washings of his intestines to prevent sepsis. After he survived all that medical crisis last November was diagnosed with tonsil and throat cancer. Last January had radical throat cancer surgery where is jaw was broken into to get back to his throat to remove the cancer. Then took 300 staples from ear to ear along his jaw line. He survived that then had 33 radiation treatments and those weeks on Monday had chemo. If that wasn't enough he relies on his feeding tube for sustenance can't swallow his own spit then aspirates on it causing pneumonia and antibiotics which has occurred at least 5 times now. Can't open his jaw and now goes into swallowing therapy in hopes to at least swallow his own spit again. If that isn't enough his feeding tube has had to be replaced 3 times now and now he has lung cancer. Oh and I almost forgot he has significant emphysema that has progressed and is on oxygen. We are seeing a Pomologist tomorrow and then back to the Oncologist to help us with developing a plan to knock back the cancer in his lungs right now caught at an early stage so there is hope. He weighs fully clothed 112 pounds. Please pray for God's mercy on Mike and the Doctors to have the courage again to live and prevail through the power of prayer. Thank you because I do believe in the power of prayer for healing and I do believe God has heard all the prayers during these grueling years of medical crisis that my brother has been through. No one on this God's green earth should suffer health crisis that Mike has endured. He is living here on earth and his family love ones' heart break over what we have seen him go through. So I am seeking group prayer again to see him trough yet another health crisis.

My husband Tom has spinal cord surgery 8 March and is recovering at home. Prior to this surgery we found out that the cyst in the middle of his spinal cord was progressive and now doing more damage on his left side in addition to his right side. He is already in a pain management regime for the damage that this cyst has caused by in pressing on his nerves in his spinal cord. We had no choice to have this surgery to prevent further damage from occurring and it was frightening. It was affecting his legs and some times they couldn't move and this was leading in the direction of being wheel chaired bound. So he was in a situation where he would be paralyzed if he didn't have the operation or taking a chance to be paralyzed during this operation. We are so hoping that this surgery will undo some of the damage that was already being done by the cyst that would inflate with spinal cord fluid having a shunt in it now to drain the spinal fluid and deflate it like a balloon. That he will recover those nerves on the edge of being damaged so that he can have quality of life. Please pray for Tom that God provides his healing presence and that he is no longer tentative on his feet and that the pain associated with this cyst subsides so he can have quality of life. Thank you for your prayers because I know our Lord in heaven will not only bless you but Tom and provide his healing presence so that this operation was worth the pain he endured during his recovery by giving him success. The Doctor told Tom for the first two weeks, even with ultimate pain management regime, that he would hate her. Bless you all for your prayers. Please pray for his complete recovery and that his nerves are healed therefore no more pain.

My brother Mike through God's mercy survived several medical disasters that happened to him in February 2017. First he had a ruptured 2 l/2 inch ruptured esophagus; then his small intestines wrapped around his small intestine causing an emergency surgery to recover his bowels; next he had an emergency laparotomy that turned into a 10 l//2 wound vac that allowed his intestines to be washed 14 times all from a suture that punctured his small intestines. He was in the hospital for 3 months then a rehabilitation assisted living center for a month before he came home. If this wasn't enough then last November 2017 he was diagnosed with throat cancer and this January 2018 had radical throat cancer surgery where they had to break his jaw and carve him from ear to ear to bring the lower jaw down to carve out the cancer in the back of his throat. He was in the hospital for over a month and now in assisted living rehabilitation center. He can't eat and the only good thing was when he through he was going to get out the feeding tube from the last esophagus medical disaster he was told this would become his life line during radiation and chemo cancer treatment for 6 l/2 weeks and hopefully this will start this week. I am convinced that if it weren't for group prayer Mike wouldn't be here today yet he has survived now to face fatigue on top of fatigue with his cancer treatment. Mike living today and facing his bleak future for the next two months is a true testimony to the Lord who I praise and magnify him as the almighty in heaven that Mike has survived so far. He still needs the Lord's healing presence and of course group prayer to see him through this medical crisis again so once and for all he is cured. God bless you all for praying for my brother to give his strength to endure the cancer treatments and God's healing presence that once and for all he can get back his quality of life. These cancer treatments need to start now but he has to be cleared to start by his dentist first because they can't stop the radiation treatments in the middle of 6 l/2 weeks for any emergency involving his teeth. He needs to get in now to see the dentist to start these treatments to save his life. Please pray for my brother Mike
