My husband is a 100% disabled Vietnam Vet. He has been suffering from Agent Orange and on top of that Lyme Disease. He has suddenly started having leg, feet and back problems. He has been to our doctor and his chiropractor. He goes for an MRI on Monday. I pray he gets some answers as well as pain relief. He is a workaholic so this pain has made his hard to live with. He can not stand to rest. Please pray for him to find answers and someone who can give him some answers.

My heart goes out to your husband. I have been living with severe pain for years. Most doctors no longer treat it adequately because they are afraid of the DEA. It's been easier and safer to go after doctors who prescribe pain medication than to go after the cartels selling illegal drugs, as they carry guns. We only hear the stories of the few (0.1% to 6%) who have addictive personalities and abused pain medication and went on to use illegal drugs. Yet because they've gotten all the media attention, legitimate people in severe pain are being denied the help they desperately need. I hope your husband's MRI will show what's going on and that he can find a compassionate doctor who will treat him and allow him to remain as active as possible for as long as possible. Please thank him for his service. I will be praying...Gina
Lord,
We lift up Diane Mentzer’s husband to You — a Vietnam veteran who has carried the burden of Agent Orange, Lyme disease, and now sudden pain in his legs, feet, and back. You see the years he has endured, the strength he has always shown, and the frustration he feels now that his body is failing him in ways he cannot control. You know how hard it is for a work‑driven man to be forced into rest, and how that struggle affects his spirit and his home.
We ask for Your presence to surround him as he goes for his MRI on Monday. Guide the doctors, the specialists, and every person who will look at his results. Let answers come quickly. Let clarity replace confusion. Let someone finally see what is wrong and know how to help him. Bring relief to his pain — not just temporary relief, but real healing that allows him to move, rest, and live without constant suffering.
Strengthen Diane as she supports him through this difficult season. Give her patience, peace, and the reassurance that You are walking with them both. Calm his mind, soften his frustration, and remind him that rest is not weakness — it is part of healing.
Lord, open the right doors, bring the right people, and shine light into this dark and painful moment.
Amen
